Mycotoxin-Myco-Met®

Mycomet is a broad spectrum purified  Mannan Oligosaccharide derived from cell wall of  Saccharomyces  cerevisiae yeast combined with aluminum and silicon in their oxide forms. Scientific review has shown the synergy between both components and the positive capture of mycotoxins  in the digestive system of the animal even with different pH ranges (3 - 13).

When mould metabolites (Aflatoxin, Zearalenone, T-2 toxin, DON and Ochratoxin) are well established in contaminated raw material, Mycomet’s pore spaces and structures bound toxins improving feed intake and weight gain without limiting vitamins, minerals and drug treatments.

Mycotoxin binding begins in the dry feed, but Mycomet exerts its full effect when in the fluid conditions of the GI tract of the animal. Once bound, mycotoxins remain trapped and the Mycomet’s complex passes through the system to be voided safely in the faeces. By preventing absorption of the toxins into the animal's body, their harmful effect can be avoided.
